Digipak Inspirations

I originally came across this image. It was the extravogant make up and the closeness of the image which caught my eye and got me thinking

This is the image away from the advertisment, which give a better idea of camera angle etc.

I have drawn a red box around the setion of the image i would find most useful, and considering to use for my Digipak front cover.

This is a different image i found from the same website, which i also thought was an iteresting shot and i might be able to use for the back of the digipak for example. I like that it is a side on shot and also the hat, the way it is placed on top of the models head, pushing her hair out from either side, the image has good concept.

This is not a picture from a digipak, however it does show the message i want to get across on the front of my digipak. Half sad and half happy, showing the two opposite emotions.

This is the album cover for Annie Lennox - Diva, which is also the album which 'Why' is on. This inpired me because in the video for 'Why' we see her making her self up using make up extravogantly. On one side on my Digipak, i want to have the model extreamly made up, juxtupose against a side where the make up is all messed up.

These are pictures of two of Nelly's albums which he released simultaneously. i have included these image,s because this is the exact concept of what i am trying to create with my CD cover, but where he has done it over two CD's, i am going to attempt to do it on on CD cover.

On these CD covers, the concept is 'By Day' & 'By Night' as we see him dressed for the day, and the sky is light blue with clouds, which tell the audeince clearly it is day, where on the other CD cover the sky is dark and there are street lights visable.

Nelly has carried the concept through on to the back aswell, however, where i want to have the back of her head, he has put a piture of a bridge, and when you put the two CD's together the bridges meet up.
